Want to know what your visitors think? Which product they prefer? What feature they’d like to see next? Or simply get quick feedback directly from your website or blog?
Good news… You can now easily run polls with Convertful, and we’ve added a new collection of poll templates to help you get started.
New Poll Templates
We’ve recently added several ready-to-use poll templates to the Convertful template library.
You’ll find them under the new “Polls” category.

Simply pick a template, customize the question and answers, adjust the design to match your website or blog, and you’re ready to start collecting responses.
Of course, you’re not limited to these templates. If you’re comfortable with the Convertful widget editor, you can also build your own poll from scratch using the widget type and design of your choice.
Different Ways to Collect Answers
Depending on what you want to ask your visitors, there are several ways to collect their answers.
For quick polls, buttons are often the simplest option. You can also use radio buttons or drop-down menus when you want visitors to choose from several predefined answers.
And if you’d rather ask an open-ended question, you can use a text field and let visitors type their own response.
One thing to keep in mind: when using a text field, the visitor must also provide their email address for their response to be saved. The answer is then stored with their contact information and can be viewed in the “Subscribers” section.
See Which Answers Get the Most Votes
Once your poll is live, you can see how visitors are responding in your Convertful dashboard.
For polls using answer buttons, simply open the “Analytics” section for your poll widget and check the “Button Clicks”.

You’ll see how many times each answer has been selected by the number of buttons clicked, allowing you to quickly identify the most popular responses.
For open-ended responses collected through text fields, you can review the answers from the corresponding contacts in the “Subscribers” section.
What Can You Use Polls For?
There are plenty of ways to use polls depending on your website and audience.
You could ask visitors what type of content they’d like to see, which product they prefer, how they discovered your website, what their biggest challenge is, or which feature they’d like you to develop next.

Polls are a quick and simple way to add interaction to your website, while at the same time gathering useful insights directly from your visitors.
Try the New Poll Templates
The new poll templates are available now in the Polls category of the Convertful template library.
Pick one, customize it for your audience, and start collecting feedback from your visitors.
And if you’d like more control, you can always create your own poll from scratch using Convertful’s existing form elements and widget types.
